Half-term fun is just the beginning

The new minister at Little Stoke Baptist Church, Rev. Tania Vaughan, has been demonstrating her passion for the community of Little Stoke through free events for adults and children.

The recent October half-term holiday club was a week of fun and games, friendship and food as the children explored the joy of the light of God.

Tania says:

“We travelled through the Bible over the week from creation when the Lord said ‘let there be light’, into Christmas mid-week as Jesus is sent as the ‘light of world’, and finally remembering that we have an opportunity to light up the lives of those around us through the love of Jesus.”

The theme of light will be continued in the upcoming Christmas services at Little Stoke Baptist Church with fun for all the family on Christmas Eve, starting at 5pm.

Christmas Market

Christmas can be an enormous expense and pressure for many families but it doesn’t have to be.

Each year thousands of toys, clothes and gifts end up in landfill. This year, Little Stoke Baptist Church is collecting donations of good quality clothes, toys, books and gifts for their Christmas Market with a difference.

This free event will be held on Sunday 5th December at 2pm and all items will be sold on a ‘pay what you can’ basis. Funds raised will be used for future community projects. There will also be free refreshments available. Don’t forget your bags!
