A local GP practice has submitted plans to increase its internal floorspace by more than a third, by adding extra floors to its existing building. Concord Medical Centre, in Braydon Avenue, Little Stoke, wants to add one extra floor to two wings of the building, increasing the gross internal floorspace by 38.6 percent. The number of off-road car parking spaces provided would remain unchanged.

Witnesses sought after e-bike robbery in local park
Police are seeking witnesses to a robbery that took place in Little Stoke Park last month. Sometime between 6.30pm and 7pm on Friday 12th January, two unknown offenders threatened the juvenile victim with bladed weapons and stole his electric Sur-Ron bike. The victim sustained no physical injury.

Police attended the incident alongside paramedics after witnesses reported a boy had been attacked by a group of three people, one of whom had a knife, and had his bike and mobile phone stolen.

Officers at South Glos Council have recommended approval of a planning application for the final two phases of a 1,200-dwelling housing development in Harry Stoke.
