Covid vaccination centre set to open soon at Little Stoke GP surgery

Signs have appeared directing patients to a Covid-19 vaccination centre that is expected to open soon at Concord Medical Centre on Braydon Avenue, Little Stoke. The site forms part of the latest ‘wave’ of GP-led vaccination centres being set up across the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire areas.

Parkway Bridge Covid-19 scheme set for review

A controversial temporary one-way traffic scheme at Parkway railway bridge that is intended to facilitate easier social distancing for pedestrians and cyclists is to be reviewed in mid-September. Meanwhile, a local resident has started a petition calling for it to be scrapped because of the traffic congestion it is causing at some times of the day.

Traffic lights to be installed at Parkway bridge to facilitate ‘social distancing’

Temporary traffic signals are to be installed at Parkway railway bridge in order to facilitate easier ‘social distancing’ for pedestrians and cyclists passing under the structure. The changes are to be implemented for a two-week trial period starting on Sunday 14th June.
