A man who set fire to 20 vehicles in north Bristol on a single night, causing hundreds of thousands of pounds of damage, has been jailed. The incidents happened in Stoke Gifford, Little Stoke, Patchway and Bradley Stoke in the early hours of Sunday 3rd April last year. A large number of the vehicles were minibuses which belonged to a community transport provider.

New CCTV footage released in north Bristol multi-vehicle arson investigation
Police officers investigating a series of vehicle fires in north Bristol in April are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man in new CCTV footage they’ve released today (7th September). The appeal relates to an incident in which two men set fire to 24 vehicles in the Stoke Gifford, Little Stoke, Patchway and Bradley Stoke areas during the early hours of Sunday 3rd April.

Avon and Somerset Police say they have charged a 26-year-old man with 24 counts of arson following a series of arson attacks on vehicles in north Bristol earlier this month. The attacks happened in the Stoke Gifford, Little Stoke, Patchway and Bradley Stoke areas in the early hours of Sunday 3rd April.

Detectives investigating a series of vehicle fires in north Bristol last weekend have made two arrests. A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of arson yesterday (Friday 8th April), while a 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of the same offence this afternoon (Saturday 9th April). Around 25 vehicles were damaged in just over 3 hours.

Detectives investigating a series of arson attacks on vehicles in north Bristol in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday 3rd April) have renewed an appeal for information. An initial review of CCTV footage from the area suggests that two people were responsible for the attacks, however the police stress that they are still keen to hear from local residents.

The police and fire services are investigating after up to 20 vehicles were deliberately set on fire overnight in the Stokes and Patchway areas. The incident locations include New Road and Gatcombe Drive in Stoke Gifford, the Rolls-Royce site in Patchway, the car park at Little Stoke Park and the car park of the Jubilee Centre, Bradley Stoke.
