Police are investigating two reports of incidents involving a faded red car in the Stoke Gifford and Frenchay area yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 13th March).

Officers had two separate calls from concerned members of the public.

The first caller had seen a boy aged about eight, with light brown hair and a gap in his front teeth shouting from the window of a faded red car as it drove along Coldharbour Lane at about 5:30pm.

The second caller had seen a white woman aged in her 20s, with blonde hair, shouting out of a similar car in Stoke Lane at about 5:55pm.

A police spokeswoman said:

“We are keen to hear from anyone else who saw a faded red car in this area in similar circumstances. Obviously we would welcome a call from anyone who recognises themselves from the description so we can make sure everything is all right.”

“Please contact South Gloucestershire police on 101 if you have any information.”

Alternatively, call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
